METONYMY 2010 The third annual collaborative exhibition where Writers and Artists are paired in a 2 month blind date to create a unique and inovative work of art. This year, I applied to be part of the Metonymy 2010 project (which has ben running since 2008). I was selected and matched with writer/poet Helen Sword. Together, we had 2 months to come up with a work representing our collaboration. EVENTS: 6 week exhibition at the Corban Estate Art Centre from 2nd September to 16th October 2010. In addition to the Artwork in the exhibition, ranging from Wall-hung art, to sculptures, to jewellery and moving image Metonymy offers Spoken Word Performance evenings (inlcuding a theatrical show with music by the Literatti called Ghosts) , Theatre and Music.
